Here are some photos of In a South Downs Way, a one-off production I helped put together at Chichester’s Minerva Theatre last Sunday. The world premiere of Damian Montagu’s evocative composition, to which I contributed some words, was the focal point of a show which included folk songs, poetry and prose inspired by the South Downs.
Huge thanks to Chichester Festival Theatre and to everyone who gave so willingly of their time and talent… it was great to be reunited with Juliet Howland, with whom I appeared in Iris… and I also got to work with one my heroes, Christopher Timothy.
The two charity performances Sold Out, raising money for The Weald and Downland Museum and for Chichester Youth Theatre.
