Primary Shakespeare Company
The Primary Shakespeare Company is a charity working with children in primary schools, raising achievement and attainment by engaging with Shakespeare.
On becoming a patron, Hugh said: “I saw my first Shakespeare play when I was seven and ever since then I have been captivated by the stories, characters, images and by the worlds created by our greatest living writer. Because if introduced to young people in the right way, in a spirit of fun and adventure, Shakespeare IS alive, to every generation – firing the imagination and nourishing the creative spirit that resides in every human being. This is what The Primary Shakespeare Company aspires to achieve. I am extremely proud to be a patron.”
