Go Live Theatre Projects
Go Live Theatre Projects is an independent charity dedicated to creating opportunities for young people with limited resources, opportunities, or support to engage with the best of London’s theatre.
They believe that all young people should have the opportunity to attend outstanding theatre, irrespective of their cultural, social or economic background. Their mission is to increase young people’s access to the best of live theatre in London (particularly those young people with limited resources, opportunities or support) and to enable them to engage creatively with that experience.
Hugh has been a patron since January 2015.
On becoming a patron, Hugh said: “As a child I was lucky enough to be taken to the theatre a lot by my parents. Seeing Bernard Miles playing Long John Silver at the Mermaid frightened the living daylights out of me. I remember thinking, what a fantastic thing to be able to do. I knew it wasn’t real but my imagination had made it so. From then on, I was intoxicated by the power and the magic of theatre.”

Working with children in primary schools, raising achievement and attainment by engaging with Shakespeare.

National Youth Arts Trust provides access to the performing arts for young people between the ages of 7 and 25 from non-privileged backgrounds.
National Youth Theatre
National Youth Theatre inspires, trains, and showcases exceptional performers and theatre technicians aged 14-25 from Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
South Downs National Park Trust
Working to enhance and protect the South Downs National Park for future generations.
