Feature film.

For six months in 1947, Lord Mountbatten assumed the post of last Viceroy, charged with handing India back to its people. Upstairs lived Mountbatten with his wife and daughter. Downstairs were their 500 Hindu, Muslim and Sikh servants. As the political elite took their seats to negotiate the future of independent India, conflict erupted within the very walls of the Viceroy’s House.

Hugh plays Lord Louis Mountbatten.
